The Stanford Prison Experiment

Based on a true event, this drama is set in 1971, when Stanford professor Philip Zimbardo decided to investigate “how an institution affects individual behavior” by hiring a bunch of students to portray guards and prisoners in a mock prison. The results astonished the world, as participants went from middle-class undergrads to drunk-with-power sadists and submissive victims in just a few days.
